I felt I could totally trust Dr Muhammad Sharafat and he listened to any concerns I had and explained the procedure completely. Plus he has a good sense of humour. A lovely Doctor and works well with his colleagues.

Dr Sharafat came to visit me on the morning of my admission; I was feeling very apprehensive, having never had an operation before, so had decided to ask for a general anaesthetic. However, he convinced me that an epidural would be a much better option. His team then put me at complete ease with the confidence that they were just going about their daily business. I asked for some sedation as well as the epidural and was aware of nothing, but then came round very easily and was soon drinking a cup of coffee in the recovery bay.
